Time to Talk Infographic

Each day in the U.S. 3,600 youth under 18 smoke their first cigarette and 900 youth under 18 become daily cigarette users. Of U.S. high school students, 18% report current use of cigarettes and 7.7% report current use of smokeless tobacco. Cigarette smoking accounts for an estimated 443,000 deaths per year. 88% of adult daily smokers smoked their first cigarette before 18.
