Each day in the U.S. 3,200 youth under 18 smoke their first cigarette and 700 youth under 18 become daily cigarette users. Of U.S. high school students, 14% report current use of cigarettes and 6.4% report current use of smokeless tobacco. Cigarette smoking accounts for an estimated 443,000 deaths per year. 88% of adult daily smokers smoked their first cigarette before 18. Talk to your kids today about the dangers of tobacco use and the benefits of living tobacco free.
