This Week in CTP – Campaigns Targeted to At-Risk Youth & Content in Spanish
On November 21, the Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) awarded campaigns to two of our small business vendors. Our Office of Health Communication and Education (OHCE) will work with Rescue Social Change to produce campaigns tailored to at-risk African American, Hispanic, and Asian/Pacific Islander teens, as well as teens who identify as LGBT. In addition, OHCE will work with Sensis to reach at-risk rural teens. These awards will allow us to begin utilizing an important tool in CTP’s arsenal—comprehensive, multi-media campaigns—to educate at-risk, underage youth about the dangers of FDA-regulated tobacco products.
