FDA Issues Draft Guidance on the Use of Nanotechnology in Food for Animals
In June 2014, FDA issued a draft guidance to address various issues related to the use of nanotechnology in food ingredients intended for use in food for animals. FDA requests public comments on this draft guidance. This and other FDA guidance documents are being issued as part of FDA’s ongoing implementation of recommendations from FDA’s 2007 Nanotechnology Task Force Report.
