FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - October 19, 2009 - Domega International Co, ltd, 1916 West 13th Street Brooklyn NY 11223, is recalling WHITE LOTUS SEED PASTE MOON CAKE (2 YOLKS) because it contains undeclared eggs. Consumers who are allergic to eggs may run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product.

The recalled WHITE LOTUS SEED PASTE MOON CAKE (2 YOLKS) was distributed nationwide in an uncoded, 22.5 oz. metal tin. It is product of China.

The recall was initialed after routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets food inspectors and subsequent analysis of the product by food Laboratory personnel revealed the presence of eggs in packages of WHITE LOTUS SEED PASTE MOON CAKE (2 YOLKS) which did not declare eggs as an ingredient on the label.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

Consumers who are allergic to eggs and purchased WHITE LOTUS SEED PASTE MOON CAKE (2 YOLKS) are urged to return them to the place of purchase. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 646-388-3032
