Under the final regulations, must facilities chart the data for quality control tests, such a processor sensitometry or phantom image evaluation?

Policy Guidance Help System logoNo. While facilities are required to keep records for the required QC tests, facilities are not required to record the data on charts or graphs. However, we believe that charting/graphing of test data provides a valuable tool for the facility to monitor trends associated with the data and to take corrective action prior to equipment performance exceeding regulatory action limits. The use of charts/graphs will also serve to expedite the inspection process.
