We provide assessment categories for each breast (or for each lesion) of the examination. Do we still have to provide one overall assessment category for the entire examination?

Yes. While individual assessments for each breast (or for each lesion), along with recommendations for their management, may be included in the report, one overall assessment category for the entire mammographic examination is required unless the Approved Alternative Standard is applied. It should be based on the assessment category of the more suspicious breast (or lesion).
