900.12(e)(5)(iv): Beam quality and half-value layer (HVL). The HVL shall meet the specifications of 1020.30(m)(1) of this chapter for the minimum HVL. These values, extrapolated to the mammographic range, are shown in Table 2. Values not shown in Table 2 may be determined by linear interpolation or extrapolation.
