USDA, FDA and DHS Officials to Sign Cooperative Agreement With National Association of State Departments of Agriculture

WASHINGTON, Sept. 22, 2004 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will sign an agreement with the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture to develop an integrated federal-state response plan for food and agricultural emergencies.

WHAT:
Remarks and signing ceremony for a cooperative agreement to develop emergency response plans between federal and state agencies in the event of a food or agricultural related emergency.
