On Tuesday, April 23, at 10:00 a.m. ET, FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) and the Commissioner's Office of External Affairs, Office of Health and Constituent Affairs (OHCA) will host a 90-minute Webinar to discuss the home use of medical devices with a focus on devices used in cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Featured speakers are:

- Katherine Serrano, Diabetes Branch Chief, Division of Chemistry and Toxicology Devices, Office of In-Vitro Diagnostics, CDRH and
- Fernando Aguel, Acting Branch Chief, Circulatory Support Devices Branch, Division of Cardiovascular Devices, CDRH
The webinar will be moderated by Helene Clayton-Jeter, OD, OHCA. The speakers will discuss the FDA’s efforts to support the safe and effective use of medical devices in the home, including new technology that is focusing on self-care and self-monitoring in the area of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
