Dear Dr. McKenzie:
The purpose of the this letter is to propose two technical amendments to the Cooperative Arrangement Between The Food and Drug Administration, Department of Health and Human Services of the United States of America and the New Zealand Food Safety Authority of New Zealand Signed on March 18,2005.
The first amendment is in Article X. Contact Points. Article X contains a single sentence: "The contact points for the application of this Arrangement are to be as contained in Annex V." We propose to delete this sentence in its entirety and replace it with the following sentence:
"The contact points for the application of this Arrangement are to be as contained in Annex IV."
The second amendment is in Annex IV Contacts which is currently empty. FDA proposes to add following language in Annex IV:

I have enclosed an amended version of Annex IV containing the proposed changes to replace the current annex.
If these amendments are acceptable to you, please send a letter to us confirming your acceptance. This letter plus an affirmative reply shall amend the MOU effective upon FDA's receipt of your affirmative reply.
