Dear Dr. Lumpkin

This letter is in response to your letter of 25 October 2007 concerning two proposed technical amendments to the Cooperative Arrangement Between The Food and Drug Administration, Department of Health and Human Services of the United States of America and the New Zealand Food Safety Authority of New Zealand Signed on March 18,2005.

The first proposed amendment refers to Article X. Contact Points, and the sentence stating "The contact points for the application of this Arrangement are to be as contained in Annex V." In your letter FDA proposed to delete this sentence in its entirety and replace it with the following sentence:

"The contact points for the application of this Arrangement are to be as contained in Annex IV." 

The second amendment is in Annex IV Contacts which is currently empty. In your letter FDA proposed to add following language in Annex IV:
