Dear Mr. Ciacca,
This letter is written in response to warning letter dated January 6, 2003, File# 03-NWJ-03. As a follow up of a response that was sent to and received by your office on February 25, 2003. Capital Foods has done extensive repairs and upgrading of structure to make sure that this problem does not occur again.
Attached is an itemized report for work done at Capital Foods, Inc.
1.
A) Bags dumped in presence of FDA Inspector
B) Food racks are out of building
C) Exterminator routine service on weekly basis
D) Whey was dumped & destroyed in presence of FDA inspector
2.
A) Corrected/Holes were cemented
B) Corrected/Extension sweepers added on bottom of door (No Gap)
C) Corrected/Extension sweeper was added on bottom of door
D) Corrected/holes are all cemented
3.
A) Corrected/Floor cemented to avoid stagnant water
B) Corrected/Painted & Cleared
C) Corrected/Grout was redone-scraping of floor peeling paint
D) Corrected/Being monitored have not seen any consideration
E) Corrected ceiling is straightened out
Capital Foods upon Re-inspection on March 9, 15 and 23, 2004 on file with the F.D.A stated on page 7 of 9 that no rodent activity was observed. Capital Foods, Inc. is in part full compliance with the F.D.A. of New Jersey. I hope that this response have corrected deviations of the warning letter.
