For Consumers
For Patients and Patient Advocates
FDA provides information for patients, and supports programs specifically designed to help ensure that patients’ voices are reflected in the regulatory decision making process. Patients can access resources on the FDA Web site related to the medical products they use, including safety updates and new approvals. Patients and patient advocates can access information about proposed policy initiatives, and public meetings where public comment is encouraged, as well as opportunities for patients and patient advocates to actively participate in FDA’s patient representative program.
