Tryptone (Tryptophane) Broth, 1%

Tryptone or trypticase 10 g
Distilled water 1 liter


Dissolve and dispense 5 ml portions into 16 x 125 or 16 x 150 mm test tubes. Autoclave 15 min at 121°C. Final pH, 6.9 ± 0.2.
