Peptone-Tween-salt diluent (PTS)


Peptone 1.0 g
Tween 80 10.0 g
Sodium chloride 30.0g
Distilled water 1 liter


Dissolve ingredients in distilled water, adjust pH to 7.2 and dispense into bottles of desired volume. Autoclave 15 min at 121°C.
