Neutralizing solution (Maas II)
| Tris | 121.14 g |
| NaCl | 117 g |
| Concentrated HCl: as needed for pH 7.0 | |
| Distilled water to make 1 liter | |
Dissolve in several hundred ml distilled water. Adjust pH to 7.0 with concentrated HCl. Bring volume to 1 liter.
