Finding of No Significant Impact
Finding of No Significant Impact
A food-contact notification (FCN No. 1050), submitted by Mitsui Chemicals, Inc., to provide for the safe use of propylene/1-butene/ethylene copolymer, as a component of articles used in contact with food.
The Environmental Review Team has determined that allowing this notification to become effective will not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and, therefore, will not require the preparation of an environmental impact statement. This finding is based on information, including an environmental assessment, dated November 16, 2010, in the notification submitted by the notifier, and other information known to the agency.
