Finding of No Significant Impact
Finding of No Significant Impact
A food-contact notification (FCN No. 1011), submitted by CDG Environmental, LLC, to provide for the safe use of chlorine dioxide as an antimicrobial agent in water used in poultry processing and to wash fruits and vegetables that are not raw agricultural commodities.
The Environmental Review Team has determined that allowing this notification to become effective will not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and, therefore, will not require the preparation of an environmental impact statement. This finding is based on information, including an environmental assessment, dated August 9, 2010, in the notification submitted by the notifier, and other information known to the agency.
