Finding of No Significant Impact

Finding of No Significant Impact

A food contact notification (FCN No. 885), submitted by DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise, to provide for the safe use of 2-propenoic acid, 2-methyl-, polymer with 2-(diethylamino)ethyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate, 2-propenoic acid and 3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8-tridecafluorooctyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate that will function as an oil and grease resistant additive in paper and paperboard that will contact all food types.

The Environmental Review Team has determined that allowing this notification to become effective will not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and, therefore, will not require the preparation of an environmental impact statement. This finding is based on information in the notification, including an environmental assessment, dated April 22nd, 2009, submitted by the notifier and other information known to the agency.
