Finding of No Significant Impact

Finding of No Significant Impact

A food contact notification (FCN No. 864), submitted by Pinnacle Polymers, to provide for the safe use of the ethylene/propylene copolymers polymerized in the presence of propylene homopolymer compiling with 21 CFR 177.1520(c) Item 1.1, to produce an inseperable blend of the two polymers, as a basic polymer to fabricate food-contact articles.

The Environmental Review Team has determined that allowing this notification to become effective will not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and therefore will not require the preparation of an environmental impact statement. This finding is based on information in the notification, including an environmental assessment, dated November 2008, submitted by the notifier and other information known to the agency.
