Finding of No Significant Impact

A food contact notification (FCN No. 839), submitted by Toyota Tsusho Corporation, to provide for the safe use of dodecanoic acid, 12-amino-, polymer with ethene, 2,5-furandione, α-hydro-ω-hydroxypoly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl) and 1-propene for use as an antistatic agent for polymer films in contact with non-fatty dry foods at a concentration of up to 20% by weight of the polymer under Conditions of Use E through G.

The Environmental Review Team has determined that allowing this notification to become effective will not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and therefore will not require the preparation of an environmental impact statement. This finding is based on information submitted by the notifier in the notification, including an environmental assessment, dated March 27, 2008.
