Finding of No Significant Impact

A food contact notification (FCN No. 545), submitted by Johnson Polymer LLC and Nature Works LLC, to provide for the safe use of styrene, methyl methacrylate and glycidyl methacrylate copolymers for use as a component of polylactide polymers in contact with all food types (except in foods with an alcohol content greater than 15 percent) and under conditions of use E through G.

The Environmental Review Group has determined that allowing this notification to become effective will not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and therefore will not require the preparation of an environmental impact statement. This finding is based on information submitted by the notifier in an environmental assessment dated October 6, 2005.
