Attached is the Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for this food-contact notification. When this notification becomes effective, the notifier's Environmental Assessment (EA) dated January 22, 2001, and this FONSI may be made available to the public. The EA should have pages 9-J and 9-K, that were submitted by the notifier on March 6, 2001, substituted for those same pages in the original EA. Please let me know if there is any change in the identity or use of the food-contact substance that would be inconsistent with the identity and use described in the FONSI.

Finding of No Significant Impact
A Premarket Notification (FCN 000133), submitted by Warwick International, Ltd. to provide for the safe use of bis-1,2-([N,N-diacetyl] amino-)ethane as a bleaching agent in the manufacture of food-contact paper and paperboard products complying with 21 CFR 176.170.
The Chemistry and Environmental Review Team has determined that allowing this notification to become effective will not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and therefore will not require the preparation of an environmental impact statement. This finding is based on an Environmental Assessment prepared by the notifier.
