Finding of No Significant Impact

A Premarket Notification (FCN No. 000089), submitted by CONDEA Servo, BV, to provide for the safe use of polyethylene glycol mono-isotridecyl ether sulfate, sodium salt for use as a surface-active agent in latex emulsions employed as pigment binders in the manufacture of paper and paperboard at levels not to exceed 1% by weight of solids in the latex formulation

 

 

The Environmental Review Team has determined that allowing this notification to become effective will not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and therefore will not require the preparation of an environmental impact statement. This finding is based on information submitted by the notifier in an Environmental Assessment.
