|Fresh whole milk||1 liter|
|Ferrous sulfate·7H2O||1 g|
|Distilled water||50 ml|
Dissolve ferrous sulfate in 50 ml distilled water. Add slowly to 1 liter milk and mix with magnetic stirrer. Dispense 11 ml medium into 16 × 150 mm culture tubes. Autoclave 12 min at 118°C.
