BAM Media M63: Hugh-Leifson Glucose Broth (HLGB)

Bacteriological Analytical Manual

Peptone 2 g
Yeast extract 0.5 g
NaCl 30 g
Dextrose 10 g
Bromcresol purple 0.015 g
Agar 3 g
Distilled water 1 liter

Heat with agitation to dissolve agar. Adjust pH to 7.4 ± 0.2. Autoclave 15 min at 121°C.
