Earle's Balanced Salts (Phenol Red-Free)

NaCl 6.8 g
KCl 400 mg
CaCl2·2H2O 265 mg
MgSO4·7H2O 200 mg
NaH2PO4·7H2O 140 mg
Glucose 1.0 g
NaHCO3 2.2 g
Distilled water 1 liter

Dissolve ingredients in the water. Sterilize by filtration. Final pH, 7.2 ± 0.2.
