Bacteriological Analytical Manual
|Yeast extract||2.5 g|
|Distilled water||1 liter|
Heat with agitation to dissolve agar. Dispense 100 ml portions to 170 ml bottles. Autoclave 15 min at 121°C. Final pH, 7.4 ± 0.2. Cool to 50°C. Aseptically dispense 2 ml portions to sterile 13 × 100 mm tubes. Store at room temperature 2 days before use.
