Trypticase (Tryptic) Soy Broth (TSB) with Glycerol

Trypticase peptone (tryptone)17 g
Phytone peptone (soytone)3 g
NaCl15 g
K2HPO42.5 g
Glycerol240 ml
Distilled water760 ml


Suspend ingredients in distilled water and heat to dissolve. Dispense into bottles or vials. Autoclave 15 min at 121°C. Final pH, 7.3 ± 0.2.
