Trypticase Soy Agar-Magnesium sulfate-NaCl (TSAMS)

Trypticase peptone15 g
Phytone peptone5 g
NaCl20 g
MgSO4 7H2O1.5 g
Agar15 g
Distilled water1 liter

 

Heat with agitation to dissolve agar. Boil 1 min. Dispense into suitable tubes or flasks. Autoclave 15 min at 121°C. Final pH, 7.3 ± 0.2.
