Phenylalanine Deaminase Agar
|Yeast extract||3 g|
|L-Phenylalanine or||1 g|
|Distilled water||1 liter|
Heat gently to dissolve agar. Tube and autoclave 10 min at 121°C. Incline tubes to obtain long slant. Final pH, 7.3 ± 0.2.
