Retail Food Safety Initiative
The Retail Food Safety Initiative is part of FDA’s prevention-based, farm-to-table food safety strategy to reduce foodborne illness. This Initiative, announced October 2010, acknowledges key partnerships with industry and regulators to drive improvement of food safety at the retail level.
