Food Defense Awareness Workshops & Meetings
Proposed Rule on Focused Mitigation Strategies to Protect Food Against Intentional Adulteration
FDA is convening a series of Food Defense Awareness Workshops around the country. The goal of the full-day workshop is to provide members of the food industry with an understanding of food defense, the tools and resources available, and to walk participants through a series of exercises on how to create a food defense plan for their facilities. Much of the day will be spent introducing the FDA’s Food Defense Plan Builder software program. Participants will be guided through a series of exercises using the tool and there will be open discussions and question and answer sessions throughout the day.
