How to Register (cont.)

  • Paper registrations accepted (for example, if Internet access not reasonably available)
    • Much slower process (FDA estimates we can process 1,800 registrations per day)
    • Need to ensure form is legible and complete, otherwise delays will occur
    • FDA will enter the information on the form and assign each facility a registration number in the order the forms are received
