Farewell
FDA Veterinarian Newsletter November/December 2003 Volume XVIII, No 6
It is with mixed feelings that I inform you that this is my last issue as Editor of the FDA Veterinarian. After 26½ years with the Food and Drug Administration, I am taking an early retirement, effective January 2, 2004. Over the past five years, first as Managing Editor, then as Editor, I tried to bring you news of CVM in a format that would be reader-friendly, and informative, and I was pleased that we were able to add a bit of color to the publication two years ago.
After spending half my life at FDA, I plan to enjoy my favorite things, especially horses and foxhunting, and Jack Russell Terriers. I even hope to pursue a second career in photography. Thank you for the opportunity to spread the news of CVM's mission. I was proud to be associated with FDA and CVM. Being able to incorporate my lifelong love of animals into my career was an added bonus.
