FDA Seeks Contract Proposals for its initiative titled: “Detection and Analysis of Animal Proteins Prohibited from Use in Ruminant Feed.” FDA will support the development of a method for detection of prohibited mammalian material in feed for ruminants, which is a part of its effort to prevent the establishment and amplification of BSE in the US, through animal feed.
