FDA Veterinary Medicine Advisory Committee To Meet

November 6, 1997

The fall meeting of the Food and Drug Administration's Veterinary Medicine Advisory Committee (VMAC) will be held November 12 - 13, 1997, in the Goshen Room of the Holiday Inn-Gaithersburg, Two Montgomery Village Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland. The meeting will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on November 12, and 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on November 13.

The agenda topic for the meeting will be veterinary medical issues related to the quality standards for the manufacture of animal drugs, such as current good manufacturing practices (CGMPs). This discussion will be a follow-up to the deliberations held at the May 13, 1997 VMAC meeting.
