Dr. Dada is a Senior Health Promotion Officer in the Division of Drug Information. She graduated from Ferris State University where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Pharmacy and pursued her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Dada’s responsibilities include responding to inquiries from industry, academia, consumers, health care professionals and other sources. She also writes consumer friendly information on a variety of drug products for FDA’s web site participates in presentations to foreign government representatives on CDER’s role in drug development and mentors pharmacy students to learn about the U.S. Public Health Service.

Before joining the FDA in 2005, Kavita worked as an ambulatory care pharmacist for Kaiser Permanente, where she worked with a team of physicians and pharmacists to maintain target therapies under drug utilization review.

Dr. Dada began her career working as a community pharmacist for six years and continues to maintain her skills as a practicing pharmacist.
