Ethics and Integrity Contacts

Office of Ethics and Integrity (OEI) Staff

OEI provides advice and assistance to FDA employees on a variety of ethics related matters including, but not limited to, financial disclosure, prohibited financial interests, outside activities, and post employment restrictions. Employees are encouraged to seek advice, when needed, by contacting the Ethics Advice Hotline at (240) 402-1111 or email FDAEthics_Advice@fda.hhs.gov.

FDA Center Ethics Liaisons

The Center Ethics Liaison is responsible for the ethics program within his/her jurisdiction, e.g., a Center Ethics Liaison has jurisdiction over activities for employees within his or her Center. Ethics Liaisons are also responsible for ensuring employee compliance with ethics rules, regulations, and policies by working with employees and supervisors. Center Ethics Liaisons may also provide in-person training on various ethics-related issues.

HHS Office of the General Counsel (OGC)

The HHS Office of the General Counsel (OGC) provides legal advice to the FDA on ethical matters.
