1. AUTHORITY DELEGATED:

a. To approve a student loan repayment

b. To serve as recommending official for the above cases.

2. TO WHOM DELEGATED:

a. Item 1.a., above, is delegated to the Deputy Commissioner for Policy, Deputy Commissioner for Operations, Deputy Commissioner for Special Programs; Associate Commissioners; Assistant Commissioners; Chief Counsel; and Center Directors.

b. Item 1.b., above, is delegated to an official below the approving official.

3. LIMITATIONS:

The Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner retain the authority to approve a student loan repayment for individuals who are under his/her direct supervision.

4. REDELEGATIONS:

This authority may not be redelegated.

5. EFFECTIVE DATE

This delegation was signed by Jeffrey M. Weber, Associate Commissioner for Management, on November 12, 2004.
