1. OFFICE OF EXECUTIVE OPERATIONS (DAMC).

A. Provides guidance, advice and oversight with regard to programmatic FDA and OC administrative management policies, procedures, and controls.

B. Advises the Commissioner and other key Agency officials on administrative, financial and information management matters for components within the Office of the Commissioner (OC).

C. Manages OC budget. Provides advice, guidance and direction on the administration of the OC budget.

D. Manages a variety of program administrative services including but not limited to travel, space, time and attendance, property, etc. for OC offices with appropriate officials.

E. Establishes and maintains liaison with administrative staff throughout the OC to keep abreast of current policies and procedures.

F. Serves as OC liaison for acquisitions and grants activities ensuring compliance with agency and federal contracting policies.

G. Coordinates and provides guidance and oversight concerning OC information management activities including those related to activities of the BiB staff.

H. Advises the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners and other senior staff concerning all human capital programs and activities.

2. AUTHORITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE.

The functional statements for this Office were approved by the Commissioner, Food and Drug Administration, effective January 13, 2009.
