PDUFA FY 2000 Percent of Applications Approved

The percentage of new product applications that eventually are approved was roughly 80 percent for applications submitted from FY 93 through FY 95. The rate reached 91 percent for FY 96 submissions, and is projected to be 85 percent for FY 97 and 82 percent for FY 98 and FY 99 submissions.
