Efficacy Supplements Filed FY 2005
The vertical stacked column graph presents BLA and NDA efficacy supplements for FY 2001 through FY 2005. The scale is in increments of 50 with a ceiling of 250. It shows that the number of NDA efficacy supplements was relatively level in FY 2001 and FY 2002 at just above 150. During FY 2003, the number decreased to slightly below 140, increased to a five-year high of slightly more than 180 in FY 2004 and then fell to a five-year low of just above 120 in FY 2005. The number of BLA efficacy supplements initially dropped from a FY 2001 level of 16 to 11 in FY 2002. Then, the number of BLA efficacy supplements steadily increased each year from FY 2003 to FY 2005, reaching almost double the amount of FY 2001.
