NDAs and BLAs Filed PDUFA FY 2007
The vertical stacked column graph presents the number of NDA and BLA applications submitted and filed for FY 1998 through FY 2007. NDAs and BLAs are shown as a combined number with each stacked bar of the graph divided between standard and priority applications to show how many of the total applications were filed as priority. The vertical scale is in increments of 30 with a total range from 0 to 150. The horizontal scale is by fiscal year. The graph shows that the total number of applications submitted and filed in FY 1998 was 121 with 38 filed as priority. In FY 1999, the total increased to 127 with 31 filed as priority, increased again to 133 in FY 2000 with 33 filed as priority, and decreased to 104 in FY 2001 with 13 filed as priority. In FY 2002, the total increased to 105 with 15 filed as priority, increased again to 109 in FY 2003 with 23 filed as priority, and increased for a third straight year to 129 in FY 2004 with 29 filed as priority. The total decreased to 111 in FY 2005 with 35 filed as priority, increased to 124 in FY 2006 with 32 filed as priority, and remained at 124 in FY 2007 with 27 filed as priority.
