Original NDAs and BLAs PDUFA FY 2006

The vertical stacked column graph presents original NDAs and BLAs for FY 2002 through FY 2006. The scale is in increments of 20 with a range from 0 to 140. It shows that the number of NDAs was near 100 from FY 2002 through FY 2003 and again in FY 2005. In FY 2004, there was an increase to 120 NDAs, while the number of NDAs in FY 2006 increased slightly over the FY 2005 level of 102 to 109. The number of BLAs stayed fairly constant from FY 2001 through FY 2005 at just below 10 and then increased to 13 in FY 2006. It is footnoted that the count of FY 2006 submissions assumes that all submissions received in the last two months of FY 2006 are filed.
