Expedited PMAs MDUFMA FY 05

The horizontal bar graph provides FDA final and preliminary “on-time” performance on actions related to Expedited PMAs. In most cases, performance for FYs 2003 and 2004 is presented to demonstrate FDA performance prior to the initiation of on-time goals in FY 2005. With one activity, the goal was initiated in FY 2003. Final performance results are reported for two FY 2005 goals. Final FDA performance was slightly below the 70 percent on-time performance goal to “Issue a major deficiency letter as the first action,” but greatly exceeded the 70 percent on-time performance goal to “Issue all other first actions.” Preliminary performance data indicated FDA meeting or exceeding all other goals.
