FDA Sub-Saharan Africa Post
FDA’s Sub-Saharan Africa Post is responsible for appropriate engagement with foreign regulatory counterparts in these regions on all issues that relate to products over which FDA has regulatory responsibility. FDA’s engagement with its foreign regulatory counterparts allows it to share technical expertise that enhances the country’s ability to produce safe foods and quality medical products. The Sub-Saharan Africa Post also coordinates designated country activities that result from specific collaboration with regional economic communities within the region, such as the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
