Asia-Pacific Office
FDA’s Asia-Pacific Office is responsible for the Agency's relationships with Canada and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, excluding China and India, and includes coordination with leading regional and multiregional organizations. The objective of this Office is to foster collaboration and to share knowledge and information with FDA’s counterpart regulatory authorities throughout the region, both directly and through their Embassies in Washington DC. The Asia-Pacific Office also leads in the development and implementation of international cooperative arrangements and initiatives with counterpart agencies in the region, and provides country-specific expertise on issues affecting a full range of FDA-regulated products.
The Asia-Pacific Office is located at FDA White Oak headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland. It was formed in the year 2011.
